Abhishek Sharma has taken the fifth position of being the youngest player in the IPL history when he joined the IPL on May 12, 2018. He was bought by Delhi Capitals and played against RCB at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The DC bought Sharma at 55 Lakhs INR. In his debut match itself, he made 46 runs from just 19 balls. The score was made with 4 sixes and 3 boundaries. 

  1. Sarfaraz Khan (17 years and 177 days)

Sarfaraz Khan made his debut in 2015. He was also ranked among the youngest players of all time in the IPL. When he first played for the RCB, he was only 17 years and 177 days old. As of now, he is the fourth youngest player to play in the IPL. Sarfaraz was also a part of the Indian cricket team for the Under-19 World Cup in 2016 and 2014. He is an amazing player who also managed to break the record of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. 

  1. Riyan Parag (17 years and 152 days)

At 20 Lakhs, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) team bought Parag in 2019 auctions. At 17 years and 152 days of age, he first played on behalf of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team in 2019. He also made a record for the youngest player to make a fifty in IPL. This record was earlier made by Sanju Samson and Prithvi Shaw. In 2022, RR bought him again in the IPL auction. Parag is an exceptional player and is often held in high regard. 

  1. Mujeeb Ur Rahman (17 years and 11 days)

Rahman was born in Afghanistan. He made his international debut at the age of 16 years. In the 2018 IPL auctions, the Kings XI Punjab team bought him when he was just 17 years and 11 days old. When he debuted on behalf of the team, he became the youngest player in the IPL history and makes up for the second position today. Rahman has performed very well for the team and continuously works hard towards achieving a stronger position in the IPL matches.

Prayas Ray Barman stands on the first position of being the youngest player to debut in the IPL history. He started playing on behalf of the RCB team in 2019. He was only 16 years and 157 days old when he played his first match in the IPL. At the cost of 1.5 crores, the RCB had bought the player in the hopes for exceptional performance. Barman has lived up to the expectations of the team sponsors as well. However, it is expected that the performance of Barman will improve over time.
