Recently, Josh Hazelwood commented in an interview that he was deeply motivated and admired the commitment of Virat Kohli. Josh is the teammate of Kohli in the RCB IPL franchise team. Ahead of the World Test Championship final that is about to begin on June 7, the Australian pacer highlighted that Kohli is an important part of the team as well. He was unable to be a part of the IPL team this season due to side issues. He still has a high amount of confidence in his capabilities as a bowler while Australia is preparing for the finals.

When Hazelwood was asked to discuss Kohli, he emphasized on the unwavering work and commitment of Kohli towards the game. He states that Kohli has exceptional ethics and carries excellent skills on the field.

Hazelwood further added that, “I think it’s probably how hard he works (that stands out). He is always out there (training) first and leaves last … and the intensity he trains at all the time is at such a high level it drags everyone else along for the ride. That can leak on to the other players and improve them as well.”

Apart from this, Hazelwood also appreciated the efforts and contributions of Siraj this season and highlighted that Siraj was at the top of the wickets each time and performed very well.

Hazelwood mentioned that his fitness was very good and he is all set to start kicking off at the games with the Australian cricket team as soon as he returns. His focus is dedicated towards June 7 and the matches to be held at The Oval. Hazelwood was only a part of three matches before his injury swelled up but he remained a part of the RCB team until the end to support them in the best possible way.
