- AB de Villiers (Scored 129 Against GL)
In May 2016, AB de Villiers made 129 runs against the Gujarat Lions and made history. No other batter was able to get that score against the team. De Villiers has had his own set of records. His retirement gives new batters an opportunity to cross bounds and beat records that are set in stone. IPL has seen some legends and Villiers is one of them.
- AB de Villiers (Scored 133 Runs against MI)
In 2015, in the Wankhede Stadium, AB de Villiers made another history by scoring 133 runs against the Mumbai Indians. No other player has been able to break that record since then. Villiers is one of the best batters that the IPL has known. His scores are unbeatable against some teams and the eyes are on the new batters to gain some new grounds.
- Quinton de Kock (Scored 140 Runs against KKR)
Quinton de Kock is the third person on the list for scoring the maximum runs against a particular team. He made 140 runs against the Kolkata Knight Riders in May 2022. Kock is among the best players as well. His score is unbeatable. Making 140 runs against a solid team is literally exceptional and no other batter was able to do the same.

- Chris Gayle (Scored 175 runs against PWI)
When it comes to legendary scoring, Gayle always makes the list. His score of 175 runs not out is practically a part of every other batting score that was made in the IPL tournament until now. Gayle made 175 runs against Pune Warriors India in 2013 and since then there has been no looking back. Chris Gayle has literally got his name shrined in the IPL history and there is yet to be seen a batter who can top this.
