The record for the highest partnership in CPL at the fifth position was made by Lendl Simmons and Martin Guptill. The partnership was of the first wicket and helped in collecting 154 runs for the team. 3. Kennar Lewis and Andre Russell (161 Runs)

In 2018, Kennar Lewis and Andre Russell made a record of the highest partnership at the third position in the CPL history. The two batters made 161 runs and it was a 6th wicket partnership that actually saved the team. They played on behalf of the Jamaica Tallawahs and ruled over the batters of the Trinbago Knight Riders. Andre Russell is definitely an exceptional batter who worked together with Kennar Lewis to win a match that was a very close call. 

2. Marlon Samuels and Orlando Peters (161 Runs)

The second place in the record for the highest partnership is dedicated to Marlon Samuels and Orlando Peters. Although the two players have not made many records in the batting category but on this day in 2014, the two batters managed to make 161 runs and were not even bowled out by the batters of the Amazon team. It was a fourth wicket partnership that completed 20 overs of the match and helped in reaching the target. 

1. Chris Gayle and Chadwick Walton (162 Runs)

At the first position in the record for the highest partnership in the CPL history are Chris Gayle and Chadwick Walton. The two players managed to make 162 runs on 10 September 2019 for their team – Jamaica Tallawahs. They thrashed the Patriots bowlers with their efforts and made a point that they were there to rule the day. When Gayle is on the field, one can only expect greatness from him. Along with the support of Walton, he made history and a record that is not broken in a long while.
